Taking into consideration the increase rise in the patients of Hypothyridism & Diabetes in Pregnacy a deliberation was organized by NOGS for its members. President AMS ( Academy of Medical Sciences) Dr Pramod Gandhi was the Chief Guest & he spoke on Gestational diabetes in Pregnancy. He explained the possible causes , how to diagnose , investigate & how to treat these patients so that a better neonatal outcome was possible. He gave guidelines based on clinical practice so that early screening could avert high risk pregnancy related to Diabetes.

Dr Jayashree Shembalkar senior Endocrinologist & Guest of honour deliberated on Hyperthyroidism in pregnancy .

Though it is very rare but still with proper diagnosis & treatment both the Maternal & Foetal outcome would be much better if diagnosed at the earliest. She also gave useful guidelines to diagnose Hyperthyroidism.

Dr Alka Mukherjee Past sec NOGS & VP IMA Nagpur spoke on Hypothyroism in Pregnancy & its management.

A panel discussion on High Risk Pregnancy with Thyroid & Diabetes was moderated by Dr Jayashree Upadhya, Dr Pramod Gandhi, Dr Jayashree Shembalkar, Dr Sutapa Roy, Dr Sangeeta Tajpuria & Dr Manjusha Giri particiapted in the discussion.

A very different & enlightening talk by Professional counselor Milind Apte on REBT ( Rational Emotive & Behaviour Therapy) which projected the lighter but important aspects of understanding between the two genders was discussed. The audience thoroughly enjoyed his thought provoking & self introspection talk with good interaction with the delgates.
