This span consists of 9 segments, out of which 2 end segments are of 1.95m and 7 mid-segments are of 3.00m length each. Overall length of the Girder is 25m.

These segments were casted at Jamtha Casting Yard and carried to the site by Multi-axle vehicle. Each segment is approximately weighing 39 MT and they are placed on top of the pier by crane having a capacity of 200 MT.

These segments have been lifted at the Pier level, glued together and Pre-stressed using hydraulic jacks. Approximate pre-stressing force applied was 2300Tonnes. The segments are tied together by high-tensile steel wires using the pre-stressing process. Pre-stressing process is now over and it is ready for loading and track laying. Now the ground support shall be removed and moved to the next span for further launching and process of Pier protection shall begin. The concrete weight of the entire Girder is 400T.
