Local Body Tax department conducted search and seizure action at the establishment named U B Enterprises (Proline Fitness), Jagat Plaza, Nagpur; owned by Ujjawal Bhoyar. The dealer is trading the fitness equipments. The dealer has made imports (purchases) worth Rs.34,11,469/- and Rs.44,53,206/- in the financial years 2013-14 and 2014-15 respectively . As estimated, the dealer is liable to pay LBT on imports of Rs.3.15 Lakh approximately for the goods imported, but the dealer has not deposited the lbt amt in N.M.C LBT account still & also not submitted the annual LBT return for the financial year 2013-14 . The Department seized purchase invoices and Sale – Purchase data from the dealer’s establishment. Department will verify the documents and data seized for fixing the actual LBT liability on the dealer.
The search and seizure actions were conducted by LBT Officers Venkat Jichkar; Asstt. LBT Officers Sanjay Dahikar and Assistants Jitendra Tomar, Shailendra Bharadwaj, Amir Hussain, Sanjay Moundekar, Someshwar Parate. The operation was initiated under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner, Milind Meshram under the able guidance of Municipal Commissioner and Additional Dy. Mpl. Commissioner.
