SKOCH Mobility Award 2017
Nagpur: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has been invited to send nominations for ‘SKOCH Mobility Award 2017’ in transport, roads and infrastructure categories. In a letter sent to Mayor Nanda Jichkar, the Chairman of SKOCH Awards, Sameer Kochhar has pointed out that mobility is an important component to gauge the economic growth of the country. Whether it is to do with freight, public transport, corridors, multi-modal, or even financing, there has been a lot of progress over last few years and a lot of unique scalable examples and successes have been created. NMC might be one of these, which needs to be documented, emulated and replicated.

The letter further says, believing that transformational technologies can lead to sustainable development and growth, we have taken the lead in recognising such initiatives that have overcome the challenges, by instituting ‘SKOCH Mobility Award 2017’ that is aimed at recognizing new age technologies / solutions and innovations that have been tested and excelled in their respective fields.

The organisations invited to participate in the SKOCH Awards will have to fill up nomination online at www.skoch.in. The last date to nominate is 25th October 2017.
