NEET 2016: Check out top colleges where you can take admission on the basis of your score

neetThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Phase 2 examination on July 24 across various test centres across the nation.

The test is conducted for the selection in various medical and dental courses like Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).

As per reports, approximately 4.7 lakh have registered this year to appear for the examination out of which 90 per cent take the examination.

In order to help the candidates in analysing their performance, the official answer key for the same, will be released on August 7. All those who had appeared for the same may check it at its official website, www.aipmt.nic.in

Also, this time some medical colleges (such as AIIMS) will not be granting the admissions based on the NEET, but will instead rely on their own entrance examinations.

Cut-off Marks:

It is generally expected that admissions to these colleges in New Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, etc where NEET scores will be applicable for admissions to all the seats, the cut-offs will be in the range of around 540 to 560 out of the 720 maximum marks for NEET.
