Narendra Borkar carries out inspection of east Nagpur roads, proposals for repairs to be invited

There are numerous complaints from east Nagpur people regarding roads as the condition of various roads there, is really worsening and people have to suffer a lot due to this.

To look into the matter and to satisfy the need of improving road condition, Narendra Borkar, standing committee chief of Nagpur Municipal Corporation carried out inspection of various roads in east Nagpur on July 24. The roads, which were inspected for checking the actual status are-

Old Bhandara road, road going from railway crossing to Bharatnagar- Sharja Hotel, road from Mehta Kata Chowk, Jawaharlal Darda Convent chowk to Suryanagar, road going towards Goel Hotel, Bharatnagar chowk to Bharatwada, Shikshak Colony- Bharatwada road etc all these roads were inspected.

All these roads are deteriorating due to continuous heavy vehicle traffic, which ply to and fro on these roads. At this time, Borkar also instructed the officials to inform traffic police if the heavy vehicles are wrongly parked. The complaints of bad roads required immediate attention as due to such bad condition of roads there is always a possibility of accidents.

Standing committee chief, Narendra Borkar has given directives for inviting proposals for carrying out requisite repairs.

During this inspection round Narendra Borkar was accompanied by Jagatram Sinha, corporator Pradeep Pohane, Anita Wankhede, Kanta Rayokar, executive engineer, Manoj Talewar, Madan Kukare, deputy engineer, C R Gabhane, A P Yawalkar, Sunil Kothe, Pradeep Wankhede and the concerned officials of the department.
