Nagpur RPF observes its 30th Foundation Day at Reserve Lines in Ajni

Nagpur.
The Nagpur division of Railway Protection Force (RPF) has observed its 30th Foundation Day at Reserve Lines in Ajni here on Monday. Mr O.P. Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Central Railway, Nagpur honored the programme as the Chief Guest. A grand parade was also organised under the directives of Mr. A. Ibrahim Sharif, senior Divisional Protection Commissioner, RPF Central Railway, Nagpur.  Four platoons along with RPF band participated in the parade.

The 30th Foundation Day parade was commanded by Ashish Sinha, an Inspector posted at Chandrapur.
Chief Guest O.P. Singh awarded shields across four different categories on the occasion.  The ‘Railway Act Cases Shield’ was awarded to KD More, Inspector at Nagpur thana, ‘Best Investigation Shield’ went to Amla thana Inspector Sandeep Khiratkar, ‘Best Maintained Unit Shield’ is conferred to CS Bisht, Inspector at Reserve Lines, Ajni while the ‘Best Crime Control Shield’ was awarded to Inspector Peter Garwin of Wardha thana. All of the awardees were given cash prize of Rs 2000  along with the Certificates. A total of of 24 Officers and Jawans were also honored for their commendable services. Of these, 20 prizes were among the group and 4 were individual.
Among other dignitaries who were present on the occasion include Upper Divisional Railway Manager, Dr. Jaideep Gupta, CRPF DIG Mr Akhilesh, Commandant Mr. Sudheer, senior officers from police and government railway police along with the kin of retired RPF Officers and Jawans.
