Nagpur Round Table 83 opens 6th school for underprivileged in city

Nagpur: Nagpur Round Table 83 (NRT83) inaugurated its 6th school in the city of Nagpur. Round Table India is an association of young men under the age of 40 years who work for a common goal of providing infrastructure to the needy schools who provide free education to the underprivileged.

On 18th June 2017, NRT 83 inaugurated Lt Col V D Paranjape Memorial School, Dharampeth with four classrooms and one small room for teachers over two floor of construction. This project of NRT will benefit over 400 children immediately in the coming term. These children for the past so many years were taught in a make shift arrangement of an orphanage Bal Mandir Sanstha.

On this occasion the trust secretary Dr. Ranjana Pardhi, Ex. Chairman Child Welfare Committee of Nagpur, Ex Member of Legal Aids Committee High Court Nagpur, Smt. Shaila Fadnavis President, Smt. Anjali Dabir VP and other members of the trust were present. Smt. Fadnavis thanked Nagpur Round Table for its contribution and encouragement of the public and requested other NGO’s at large to come forward and contribute to the society in such noble ways.

Tr. Devendra Gandhi (Vice Chairman Area III), Cr. Prachi (National Ladies Circle President), Cr. Shewta Vora (Area III Ladies Circle Chairperson) and Tr. Nilay Verma (Chairman Nagpur Round Table 83) along with tablers from Nashik, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur & Bilaspur were present on this occasion.

Tr. Nilay Verma, Chairman NRT 83, motivated the underprivileged children who were present for this function in his speech and said “this is just a building that we make – and you will make it a school”. Chairman also ensured that they would always be available for any kind of support that this school or any other school may require in terms of any infrastructure support, Nagpur Round Table shall always contribute as much as possible for this noble cause.

Nagpur Ladies Circle & its Chairperson Cr. Esha Agrawal donated 100 school bags on this day to encourage the students who would attend this new school.

The plaque of the school was unveiled by the honorable guests and sweets were distributed to all.

Nagpur Round Table 83 appeals to the city of Nagpur and nearby areas – that any underprivileged school that may be requiring any infrastructure support may get in touch with them and the tablers will always be there for any help that they can provide.

Nagpur Round Table 83 has been in existence for over 30 years by organizing charity events and other projects. They are working for their common goal of Round Table India – Freedom Through Education under which NRT 83 has till date made 5 schools and undertaken many other small and big social assignments which have benefited the society.
