Mystery shrouds suicide by 24-year old boy in Hudkeshwar

suicideNagpur: Indira Gandhi Nagar area under Hudkeshwar Poilice Station went tense when a 24-year old boy reportedly committed suicide in his house in the wee hours of Monday.  However, mystery shrouded the death of the boy as no suicide note was found and the apparent reason behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.

The deceased has been identified as Vicky Ashok Bemarkar, resident of Indira Gandhi Nagar in Hudkeshwar area. It is surmised that Vicky ended his life by hanging in the kitchen of his house in the wee hours of Monday. Vicky’s mother works as a peon in a Government School and used to wake up at 4 in the morning regularly. She had never in her dream thought of a dreadful scenario in which her son would be found hanging in kitchen motionless when she woke in the morning as usual.

Throwing more light on Vicky’s reported suicide, his brother Vinod said that Vicky was not found mentally disturbed or in any other difficulty. He returned to home on Sunday evening after playing cricket with his friends and also had dinner with other family members. However, Vicky had not gone to sleep till late night and when asked about it, he had tersely said that he is not just sleepy. This terse reply by Vicky has left some mysterious questions unanswered over his reported suicide. Moreover, Vicky has left no suicide note for his extreme step.

Hudkeshwar police have registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter from all angles.
