Municipal Commissioner Shyam Wardhane on Saturday visited various places and inspected the pipeline laying work being done under Pench Phase-4 Water Supply Scheme through Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM). Wardhane reviewed the 2300 mm pipeline laying progress and other works.
The Municipal Commissioner inspected the pipeline laying work at Mankapur on Saoner Road (near Jaidurga Hotel), pipeline work over a Nallah near Railway track and other related works in progress at Ghogli. Similarly, Wardhane inspected Box Culvert work being done under the Railway line and works of internal wells and Pump House at Pench Reservoir. After the inspection, Wardhane directed the officials to complete the works till December. The Superintending Engineer Prakash Urade was given the responsibility to complete the works till December in accordance with the Bar Chart.
Others who accompanied the Municipal Commissioner include Executive Engineer Shyam Chavan, OSD Mohammed Israel, Branch Engineers Rajesh Duphare, Suresh Bhaje, PMC’s Kulkarni, Agency’s Deo, Vyankatesh Rao and others.
