MPCC invites applications from aspirants for candidature for Assembly elections in State

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), in view of upcoming Assembly elections in State, has started the process of inviting candidature applications from the aspirants.

The MPCC has sent letters to all District Congress Committees in this connection. The aspiring candidates have been asked to send their applications in prescribed forms to Tilak Bhavan-based office of MPCC in Mumbai till August 11, 2014. The prescribed forms will be available in District Congress Committees. For details, office of MPCC can be contacted by the aspirants, said a press release issued by MPCC.

Appeal:
Congress party till today has given successful coalition Governments at Centre and in Maharashtra as well. Congress has led coalition Governments at Centre and in State maximum times. Therefore, Congress needs no advice on how to run coalition Governments. Congress has always played the role of big brother patiently and understandingly while running the coalition governments. It does not mean Congress cannot act tough. From time to time, Congress has acted tough and gave fitting replies. It is capable. Therefore, there is no need for others to go out of way and test patience of Congress party, said Spokesman of Communications Department of party.
