Mother-son duo dupes many persons to the tune of Rs 40 lakh by promising jobs in WCL

A mother-son duo systematically duped many gullible persons by ‘promising’ jobs in Western Coalfields Limited. The con accused usurped lakhs of rupees from the job seekers. The accused duo has been booked but not arrested so far.

The accused Harshal Shivrajsingh Waghmare (26) and Madhuri Shivrajsingh Waghmare (44) trapped many persons by promising them jobs in Western Coalfields Limited. One of the victims, Vijay Parasram Satpaise (29), resident of Chaitanya Nagar, Kharbi Road, Nandanvan, fell into their trap and gave Rs 2 lakh in the hope of getting a job of clerk in WCL. The accused mother-son duo not only cheated Vijay Satpaise but also took Rs 30-40 lakh from his friend and relatives by promising them jobs in the WCL. The accused pocketed the huge money over a period from February to June 2016.

Since the incident took place in Dhantoli area, PSI Pawar investigated the complaint filed by Satpaise and subsequently booked the accused Harshal Shivrajsingh Waghmare and Madhuri Shivrajsingh Waghmare under sections 420, 468, 471, 34 of the IPC and launched an in-depth probe into the matter.
