‘Missing Melava’ portrays enthusiasm under Parsheoni police station

Much talked about and heartily hailed ‘Missing Melava’ conducted at regular intervals by the police department at various police stations, received a tremendous response of citizens on October 6, 2015 at Parsheoni police station of Ramteck sub-division.

The Melava was held at Parsheoni PS under the guidance of Nagpur (Rural) SP Dr Arati Singh with a view to identify the missing boys and girls of the last year (2014), and even those murdered or died in accidents but not traced out, yet identifiable by their relatives through their photographs.

Details of missing boys and girls from various police stations’ jurisdictions, were displayed. Accordingly, 62 under Ramtek PS, 64 under Parsheoni PS, 03 under Deolapar PS and 123 under Aroli PS, in all 252 persons were identified.

Prominently present on the occasion were Ramtek SDPO Dilip Salunkhe, Ramtek PI Hemant Kharabe, Parsheoni PI Kailash Tarankar, Deolapar API Vishal Patil, Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell head Anamika Mirzapure, police personnel and citizens.
