Fake cops never fail in their ill designs and loot gullible people. This time it occurred in Jaripataka police station jurisdiction.
On July 26, the complainant, Sulochana Varumal Jesani, 64, a resident of Plot no. 353, Choudhari Chowk, Nagpur was going to market with her sister-in-law, when two persons claiming to be police men approached them. They even had temerity to show their ‘Identity Cards’ to these hapless women. These ‘conniving cops’ claimed that there was a gang of robbers moving in the locality so they should keep safe their ornaments. Under the guise of helping them to pack the ornaments they gave effect to their ill intentions and fled away with valuables worth Rs 39,500/.
On the basis of the complaint, police-sub-inspector, Harugade of Jaripataka police station has registered an offence under sections 420, 170, 171 of IPC.
