Metro rail work gathering momentum

Nagpur: In order to give momentum to Nagpur Metro Rail work, the work of land acquisition in advance has been completed. Accordingly, 26 hectare land of SRPF on Hingna road, 2500 square meter land of T-point Warden Residency and 19,900 square meter land near Yashwant Stadium was transferred on August 4 for the purpose, informed District Collector Sachin Kurve through DIO press note dated Aug 7.

More land further required includes Maharashtra Tourisn Development Corporation’s land in front of Kasturchand Park, Technical Gigh School’s land in Sitabuldi, and it will be handed over on Monday. The SRPF has been provided 60 hectare land at Waifal which has been chosen by SRPF, said Kurve.
