Mayor inaugurates Narsala property tax collection centre

Nagpur News : As Hudkeshwar and Narsala gram panchayat have come in Nagpur Municipal Corporation jurisdiction, to facilitate payment of property taxes the tax collection centre was started at old Narsala grampanchayat office on April 5, 2014.

The centre was inaugurated at the hands of mayor Prof Anil Sole in a very enthusiastic atmosphere.

Present on the occasion were MLA, Bavankule, standing committee chief, Narendra Borkar, ruling party leader, Pravin Datke, health committee chief, Ramesh Shingare, transportation committee chief, Sudhir Raut, Nehrunagar zone chief, Mangala Gaure, zp member, Shubhangi Gaidhane, panchayat samitee member, Manjusha Babulkar, tax assessor, Shashikant Hastak, Hanuman Nagar zone assistant commissioner, Vijay Humne, Nahru Nagar zone assistant commissioner, Mahesh Morone, panchayat samitee chief, Pancham Bodhanre and other dignitaries of the area in large numbers.

Making introductory speech MLA, Chandrashekhar Bavankule said, Hudkeshwar Narsala area has 14,000 houses. For paying 2013-14 and 14-15 property tax, minimum period of two months should be given. For this awareness campaign  for payment of property tax will be run by going from house to house. He appealed to people of the area to pay taxes on their own and directed mayor, standing committee chief to make financial provision for water problem and other necessities.

Guiding the officials on the occasion, prof Anil Sole said we will make ample provisions for Hudkeshwar-Narsala village development. Special efforts will be made for this. The people of the area should pay their property tax. As Hudkeshwar Narsala have come in the jurisdiction of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, even open plot holders are required to pay tax. The tax collection campaign will run for two months, between 10 to 2. For village maping Nagpur Municipal Corporation planning department will seek proposals. All the departments have been given directives to pay special attention to the village and the villagers’ problems. But similarly co-operation of the people is very necessary.

Standing committee chief, Narendra Borkar also told that the financial provisions will be made for the village.

The introductory speech was made by MLA, Chandrashekhar Bawane, the programme was conducted by Manoj Laxne. The vote of thanks was proposed byAjay Bohare. All important personalities of the village were present without fail.
