Even after struggling for more than 12 hours, fire officials failed to control the devastating fire that broke in wholesale market at Gandhibagh on Wednesday night.
According to information, around 12 fire tenders have been deployed to control the flames but till filing of the reports, the officials failed to do so. As per details, Shishir Tripathi and Lavely Thakur noticed flames coming out from the wholesale building. They immediately informed fire fighting officials who reached the Gandhibagh, near Nanga Putla.
Officials confirmed that the reason behind this massive fire could no be ascertained and firm reason would be informed only after thorough investigations. However, fire tenders from Lakadganj, Ganjipeth, and Kalamna were called for controlling the fire. Fire officials said that material worth lakhs of rupees has turned to ashes.
