Nagpur: The Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) that is going on an indefinite strike from Thursday across the State has decided to keep the emergency services operational. However, the OPD services will not be attended by any resident doctors all over the State.

“It has been observed that no serious action has been taken against Dr Vyawahare till now ..also none of the 10 demands of July 3 Central MARD strike have been completed. But keeping the patients in mind, and also honoring the word of Education Minister Vinod Tawde that he will take meeting tomorrow morning at 10 am, we have decided to continue all emergency services.. only the OPD services will not be attended by any resident doctor all over Maharashtra.

But if the meeting failed to resolve the problem, no solution comes out, central MARD will go on an indefinite strike after due deliberations,” warned a press release issued by Central MARD.
