Nagpur: An unidentified man threatened to kill a tuition-bound girl with a screwdriver and later outraged her modesty in Dharampeth area here on Friday afternoon. Sitabuldi cops have booked the pervert accused and searching for him.
The complainant 17-year old girl told police that she was returning to her room at Pragatishil Unnat Nari Sanstha after finishing her tuition around 1.15 pm on Friday. As she was entering the building, an unidentified man (30-35 years) accosted her and, on the pretext of filling up a form, asked the girl to accompany him to the upper floor of the building. However, when the girl refused to accompany him, the man whipped out a screwdriver and threatened to kill her. With these threatening words, the accused man indulged in obscene acts and molested her. The scare girl approached Sitabuldi police and registered a case against the unidentified man.
PSI Danade has booked the pervert accused under Sections 354(A), 506 of the IPC read with Sub-Section 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and searching for him.
Landlord molests tenant:
In another incident, the accused landlord Vijay Bholaram Thakre (35), taking advantage of the tenant woman (30) being alone in her house, first demanded her vegetable. As the woman supplied the vegetable, the accused Vijay asked her prepare team for him. When the woman was preparing tea, Vijay followed her and resorted to vulgar acts. Taken aback by the nasty acts of Vijay, the woman lodged a complaint with Jaripatka police in this regard.
Jaripatka API Hanvate has booked the accused Vijay Thakre under Section 354 and launched a probe.
