Man duped of Rs 1.16 lakh on pretext of erecting mobile tower

Nagpur: One Tularam Ramdhar Verma, 40, resident of Plot No. 8, Durga Nagar coming under Kalamna police station, had seen an advertisement in an Marathi daily Lokmat regarding erecting a mobile tower. Since he was interested he contacted on the given mobile number 8285057149. Tularam was asked to deposit money in SBI suryanagar branch Account number 35085096386. As per the instructions he deposited money from time to time amounting to Rs 1,16,850 but no mobile tower was erected. Tularam came to know he was cheated.

Tularam lodged a complaint with Kalamna police. Police constable A Waghmare registered an offence under section 420 and other sections of IPC.
