Man climbs mobile tower

: Some people can do anything to attract attention. In another case of attention seeking behavior, an man who has been opposing all the administrative transfers that has been initiated keeping the drought situation in the state had climbed the Mobile Tower in the Collectorate premise on May 2, 2016.

The man identified as Sridhar Aday has been demanding that all the administrative transfers be cancelled considering the draught like situation persisting in the state. In order to pressurize the government to concede to his demand to cancel the administrative transfers climbed on the tower situated in the Collectorate premises.

On receiving information, the cops of Sadar Police Station rushed to the spot and attempted to bring Sridhar Aday down. The cops tried to climb the steps fixed on the tower. Panic and chaos existed in the Collectorate office premises.

Till the time of filing this story, the Sadar Police personnel managed to get this man down. The cops have taken the man to Sadar Police Station. It is uncertain if the cops have filed any case against the accused.

It could be mentioned here that on May 1, 2016, some five workers of Aam Admi Party too had climbed the Reliance mobile tower situated at Akashwani Square. They had carried a banner that read Vegda Vidarbha Zalich Pahije (Vidarbha should be separated). The workers of Aam Admi Party had raised slogans against Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and said Vidarbha Banao Vada Nibhao (Make separate Vidarbha and fulfill your promise).
