About 100 students pursuing M.Ed from Rastrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) are waiting for their results from past two years, claimed Senate Member Dr K B Bhandarkar on Thursday during the RTMNU Senate meeting. He informed the chair that these students are becoming victims of the negligent behaviour by the Research Recognition committee.
This issue has been hounding the students and the administration from pretty long time. Dr Bhandarkar had been taking up this issue regularly with the authorities. On October 30, 2014 those M.Ed students who did not get their mark sheets, staged protests outside the University, while the meeting was being held inside.

Bhandarkar alleged that students of some particular colleges were harassed by the RRC’s. They scored well in theory examination but could not perform well in projects as RRC’s assigns difficult and odd projects.

Students demanded that their results be declared soon. Dr D K Agrawal, Dr Anil Dhage and Mahendra Nimbarte along with other members also intervened on the issue and demanded quick action by the administration.

Mrityunjay Singh added that 36 meetings of the RRCs were held out but it could not come out with solution. Acting Vice Chancellor Dr Vinayak Deshpande assured the Senate that a meeting will be held soon with the members of the committee to discuss and resolve the issue.
