LBT meeting of core committee held at TISSA – NVCC

President Shri Mayur Panchmatiya, Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce attended meeting organized by Core Committee Members of Federation of Associations of Maharashtra under leadership of Shri Mohan Gurnani, on 25^th March, 2015, at TISSA Meeting Hall, Thane, Mumbai. Representatives of 26 Municipal Corporations of Maharashtra State attended the meeting in large number. The members present in the meeting still they could not believe that date of LBT abolition is 1^st August and not 1^st April as committed during the previous delegates meet on 2^nd March, 2015. In this meeting it was resolved that LBT/Octroi to be abolished from 1^st April as finally confirmed on 2^nd March in the meeting held at Mumbai. Amenesty  scheme for payment of arrears to be announced with immediate effect and there should not be any further scrutiny of any manner of any trade / industry members. If at all government have any hurdles to abolish LBT and Octroi from 1st April, then it should be finally abolished from 1^st August, 2015 as announced in State Budget.
