Last date for third round of RTE admissions is July 26

The Directorate of Primary Education, Maharashtra State, Pune, had invited applications from poor and deprived class of students online for 25 percent admissions under Right To Education (RTE) for the academic year 2016-17. The online admission process for Nagpur District was underway. The Education Department has declared that students selected for free admissions under round two of RTE lottery have been completed. Till date 3,522 students have taken admissions in Nagpur district under RTE.

The selection process for the third round of RTE admissions was completed by the Directorate of Primary Education on Thursday (July 21, 2016). The last date of admissions for the selected children is 26.7.2016. Parents have been urged to confirm whether admissions to their wards have been done or not by visiting the website www.rte25admission.maharashtra.gov.in and using the option ‘selected/non-selected.

The parents of selected and non-selected children have been sent SMSes accordingly. Now the parents have to approach the respective schools along with necessary documents, application number and passwords for admissions to their wards, said a press release issued by Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad Nagpur.
