Kin of 2 wanted accused threaten to kill Pachpaoli Woman PSI, other cops for serving notice

Pachpaoli police have booked four persons, including father, mother and brother of two wanted accused, on the charges of abusing, heckling and threatening to kill a Woman Police-Sub-Inspector and her team of policemen who had gone to their house to serve a notice.

The two accused, Akhil and Arif Ansari, booked for offences under Sections 279, 337, 323 of IPC read with Sub-Sections 134, 177 of Motor Vehicles Act, are wanted by Pachpaoli police. Subsequently, the Woman PSI Madavi and her team of cops, on Saturday, went to the house of the two accused in Akash Nagar, Bunkar Colony, for serving a notice. After reaching the house around 3.30 pm, the WPSI called the names of the two accused and asked the occupants whether they are in house. Hearing the calls of of the cops, father of the two accused Aril Ansari (41), mother, brother Adil Ansari and one other person came out and started shouting at the police team and asked what kind of crime they have committed.
Keeping their calm, the Woman PSI Madavi and other cops asked the relatives of the two accused to accept the notice.

However, they refused to so and indulged in abusing the cops in choicest words. With the abusing, the father, brother, and other person threatened to kill the WPSI and other policemen if they did not leave the place immediately and even ran towards them with sticks in their hands in menacing posture. The accused warned of damaging the police vehicle (MH-31/ DJ0109). The “helpless” WPSI Madavi and other cops returned to Pachpaoli Police Station and lodged a complaint in this regard.

PSI Gangakachure, acting on the WPSI’s complaint, has booked the four accused under Sections 353, 341, 332, 294, 506(B), 34 of IPC and launched a probe into the audacious incident.
