Kocchi: The Kerala high court on Tuesday restored the life ban imposed on cricketer S Sreesanth by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, a news agency reported.
The division bench of Chief Justice Navniti Prasad Singh ruled that the court cannot conduct a judicial review on the life ban imposed by the BCCI and hence upheld the appeal.
The Kerala high court had on August 7, ordered the BCCI to lift the life ban imposed on the pacer following the spot-fixing scandal in the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League in 2013.
