The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance for the admissions to IITs and NITs will be held onMay 25. JEE Mains was conducted on April 6, about 1.5 lakh students clearing it will qualify for JEE Advance. The online JEE (Mains) was held on April 9, April 11, April 12 and the last in line of Mains is scheduled on April 19.
Candidates qualifying these exams will be eligible for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded technical institutions in India.
AIEEE and MHT CET exams for admissions in engineering and architecture have been discontinued and instead, JEE paper and pen and on-line exams are being conducted. 1.5lakh students will be selected for JEE (Advance).
The online registration for JEE Main exams can be done from the Mains results are out i.e. fromMay 4 to May 9.
On June 19 results of JEE Advance will be announced. An independent exam for IIT Architecture course will be held on June 26 and its result will be announced on 29 June.
