Nagpur: A jail inmate who was undergoing life imprisonment in Nagpur’s central jail died in medical college while undergoing treatment. The deceased Mansukh Uikey was in jail from 2015.
According to police, Mansukh who was a resident of Ramtek was undergoing imprisonment for misdemeanor. From three years he was in jail. Yesterday evening Mansukh was talking to his fellow inmates when he suddenly felt sick and was taken to prison hospital and then to medical college. While undergoing treatment he breathed his last. Doctor declared him dead. Dhantoli police have registered a case of sudden death. Police are investigating.
