Continuing its splendid Results of JEE Advanced 2014, ICADians again cracked JEE (Advanced) 2015 with 6 ICADians getting placed in top 1000 students of India.
AnujApte (AIR 79) stood top ranker from ICAD. This is the second consecutive year wherein ICAD has produced rank in top 100. Last year, ICADian RupanshuGanvirstood All India Topper in SC category with AIR 24 in common merit list (CML). AnujAptealready represented India in Asian Physics Olympiad at Hangzhou, Chinaand won Gold Medal over there beating contestants from 27 countries, and is currently inDelhi attending camp of Indian National Physics Olympiad.
MandarBhurchandi (AIR 147) is the second ranker from ICAD,while ShreyasBhatwith AIR of 262 stood third at ICAD. The distinguished Top Rankers also include Mr. AshwinTayade (AIR 901), Mr. AbhijeetBhure(AIR 855),Mr. SumitMamtani(AIR 922). This is the First time in the history of Nagpur that 6 ICADians featured in top 1000 AIR of JEE (Advanced).ICADian, Mr. YashPundliklost top 1000 AIR by whisker and stood 7th in Institute with AIR of 1026.
Overall, 44 ICADians cracked JEE (Advanced) this year. ICADians have also excelled in BITSAT. 8 students have secured more than 350 marks out of 450 in BITSAT 2014. AbhijeetBhure with score of 442/450 topped at ICAD. Other Top Rankers include MandarBhurchandi (410), AnujApte (394), AshwinTayade (394), ShreyasBhat (378), DhruvaDevasthale (376), GauravWaratkar (363), KartikVenkataraman (354).
SarangUpganlawar, Director ICAD, congratulated the successful candidates. In his message, he said, it is sheer commitment of ICADians, their parents, and ICAD staff which made this amazing result possible. We will continue the same feat in future too.
Dr. DilipVaidya, Director, Academics, ICAD added that it is first time that 6 students from single institute have bagged under 1000 position. This result has further validated the academic system followed at ICAD beyond doubt and above rankers have really set the path of success for all Vidarbha region students to emulate. He heartily congratulated all the students who have worked hard for all these years & emerged successful.
It may be recalled that in recent months, ICADians have brought laurels to the city by cracking & bagging medals in prestigious National & International Olympiads in Mathematics and Physics.
