House break at Jaripatka, Rs 8.32 lakh cash, jewellery stolen!

Nagpur: Unidentified thieves broke open a locked house located in Pyramid Colony under Jaripatka police station and decamped with cash and valuables worth Rs 8.32 lakh from an almirah. The house reportedly belongs to Narayandas Badlani, 30.

Sources said Badlani had gone out with family at around 5.30 pm on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, few unwanted elements broke the lock and stormed into the house. The thieves swept away cash amount of Rs 3.65 lakh along with gold and silver ornaments, totaling the net theft at Rs 8.32 lakh.

The incident came to light after Badlani family returned back to find their house broken. They found the broken lock and scattered articles in their house.

Police have registered the case of theft upon the complaint from Badlani.
