Nagpur: The Golibar Chowk in the city on Monday witnessed a high-voltage drama being enacted by relatives and other people over death of a woman in road accident. A bus belonging to Godhra Travels knocked the 35-year old Santoshi Shahu leading to her death on the spot. Body of Santoshi was sent to Mayo Hospital for autopsy.
However, after the post-mortem, relatives and other people took Santoshi’s body to Golibar Chowk and held demonstration demanding compensation to kin of the deceased. People tried to resort to ‘Chakka Jam’ in Naik Talao Bangladesh locality. However, timely intervention by Tehsil police prevented the situation going out of control.
