While thwarting all questions by media personnel, he said that he comes every year to derive motivation and inspiration from Dr Hedgewar. He has come to pay his respects to this great man. He went on to say that in order to establish a powerful nation, we all should be united.

Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda was accompanied by Rajya Sabha member Ajay Sancheti, Mayor Pravin Datke and other dignitaries while paying respects to Dr Hedgewar.

Immediately after the visit, he went to the house of Rajya Sabha member Ajay Sancheti where he had his lunch. After his lunch, he went to Wardha to attend the Convocation programme of Datta Meghe Medical College.
