Coming towards Nagpur from MIDC Hinga? It’s lunch time and hunger pangs are hitting you hard? You no more have to rue that there are no good restaurants/ cafe on this road where you can stop by for some yummy AND healthy lunch…
Just stop by at Green Cafe, right by the Metro construction site, very close to the FDCM complex. You can’t park right in front, because of the metro work, but a few meters ahead you are sure to find a spot. Believe me, it is worth the trouble.
You enter the cafe and you are enfolded in a literally green world! Green plants, eco friendly interior, and a scenic view of the woods at the back through the windows. Even the staff is dressed in green uniforms! There is a library of sorts too.
The food is no frills continental. Pizzas, pastas, wraps, sandwiches etc. By way of non veg there is chicken and some egg dishes. Pizzas are only the healthy thin crust ones!! No overload of maida.
Menu prices are quite pocket friendly. All the dishes range from Rs. 100/ to a maximum of Rs. 250/
We paid Rs. 900/ for a decent lunch for 4, including 4 bottles of water ( charged at Rs. 20/ each only).
Right now place opens around 11 a.m. but they are planning to open for breakfast too soon.
