Goons on the chain snatching spree again

Nagpur: In another incident that came to fore two motorbike borne goons snatched the Mangalsutra of a woman who was returning home from the hospital on July 30, 2015 at around 10:45 pm.

According to police sources, the victim identified as Pushpa Rajkumar Tiwari aged 45 years and a resident of Somwari Quarters No 586-A, Behind Jayanth Plot was returning home from her visit to Dr.Mandlekar’s Hospital situated at Siraspeth. When she was returning by walk, two motorbike borne goons came from behind and snatched her Gold Mangalsutra costing Rs 60,000/- at a spot hit opposite to a shop selling Puja (prayer) Material, Budhwar Bazaar, Vidhya Nagar Road and fled the spot.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, Police Sub Inspector Wagh of Shakardhara Police Station registered a case against unidentified goons under section 392 and 34 of Indian Penal Code and has initiated an investigation.
