Goods worth lakhs burgled from two houses and a shop

Nagpur: The burglars seem to having a field day on December 1, 2016. Some unidentified burglars had broken the locks and had burgled goods including Cash, Laptops, Gold and silver ornaments burgled from two houses and a shop worth Rs 3, 70, 000/- (Rupees three lakhs seventy thousand). All the burglaries occurred in separate places in the city on December 1, 2016.

The first incident occurred in Sonegaon area. The victim identified as Sushila Pathe aged 57 years and a resident of Tapovan Complex, Jaiprakashnagar had locked her house and had gone to her work place. Some unidentified burglars had gained entry into the house by breaking the lock of the house. The unidentified burglars entered the house and stole the gold and silver ornaments kept in the almirah, a fish-pot, Rs 10,000 in cash in all worth Rupees one lakh twenty nine thousand.

When she returned home in the evening from her workplace, she realized that her house has been burgled. She rushed to Sonegaon Police Station and lodged a complaint. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, the cops of Sonegaon Police Station registered a case of burglary and have initiated an investigation into the matter.

The second case occurred in Mankapur area. The victim identified as Sheikh Dilsad Sheikh Chand aged 52 years and a resident of area near Gorewada Ring Road had locked his house and had gone along with his family members to attend a marriage ceremony in Mahal area on December 1, 2016.

In his absence, some unidentified burglary broke the lock of his main door and gained entry into his house. The burglars had stolen gold ornaments and Rs 40,000/- kept in the locker in all worth Rs one lakh eighty thousand (1, 80, 000).

When the victim Sheikh Dilsad Sheikh Chand returned on 10:45 pm in the night, he realized that his house has been burgled. He rushed to Mankapur Police Station and lodged a complaint. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, the cops of Mankapur Police Station have registered a case of burglary and have initiated an investigation in the manner.

The third case occurred in Ajni area. The victim identified as Chetan Satwane aged 38 years and a resident of Dhadiwal Layout, Joginagar had a Canteen named T-2 in Kukde Layout on Rameshwari Road. On November 30, 2016 he had locked his shop and went home at around 7:30 pm.

He realized that his Canteen has been burgled when he reached his shop the next day morning (i.e. December 1, 2016. The burglars had not only broken the lock on the steel gate and the lock on the wooden door. The burglars had stolen a lap-top worth Rs 51,000/- (rupees fifty one) from the T-2 Canteen.

Chetan rushed to Ajni Police Station and lodged a complaint. On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim Chetan, the cops of Ajni Police Station have registered a case of burglary and have initiated an investigation in the manner.
