kids for tigerNagpur: Kids For Tigers, The Sanctuary Tiger Programme, Nagpur Committee, is holding an Inter-school Quiz Competition on Saturday, the 30th July 2016, in the Centre Point School, Katol Road, auditorium, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm to mark the Global Tiger Day, which falls on 29th July every year. Shilpee Ganguly Principal, Centre Point School has extended all-out support to the ‘Kids For Tigers’, Nagpur, to hold the event.

As many as 15 schools of the Kids For Tigers, Nagpur group have registered for the event, wherein 4 teams from each school would participate in the proposed Quiz-competition. Questions pertaining to Tigers, Wildlife and Forest conservation would be put up to the participants in an interesting and entertaining format. Anup Manchalwar, renowned quiz master, would conduct the quiz through general and brain-storming sessions, on the issues of the subject.

Shree Bhagwan, Chief Wildlife Warden(Maharashtra), would grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and would inaugurate the event. Kishore Rithe, Founder, Satpuda Foundation, would be the Guest of Honour. Other eminent guests, Dr.Tejinder Singh Rawal, a well known Chartered Accountant who is also known to be a leading ornithologist of the city, Dr.Sudhanshu Kothe, renowned Plastic Surgeon, who again is the founder of the Bird Katta group of Nagpur, would address the participants on ‘Importance of Global Tiger Day’ and ‘Activities of Kids For Tigers’ in the city.

The event has been conceptualized by Ms.Sulabha Chakravarty, In-charge, Kids For Tigers, Nagpur Committee with able guidance and support from Shilpee Ganguly,Principal, Centre Point School, Rinku Chakraborty, Environment In-charge teacher, CPS-Katol Road, all other teachers and staff of CPS-Katol Road and Naved Khan, an educationist, who has extended all possible help for the successful conduction of the Quiz-competition.
