FDA makes arrangements for medicine supply on strike day

All India strike has been called by chemists and druggists on October 14.

Nagpur: In view of all India strike called by chemists and druggists on October 14, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Nagpur Division, has made elaborate arrangements to make available medicines to needy patients.

The FDA Joint Commissioner Mohan Kekatpure said that all medicine centres of Government, Semi-Government and private hospitals will remain open 24 hours on the strike day. Similarly, shops of Apollo Pharmacy and Mediplus will remain open in order to avoid inconvenience to the patients and their relatives.

Apart from the aforesaid arrangements, medicines would be supplied if the following officials of FDA are contacted on their cell phones.
