A day after a teen has been booked for molesting four year old girl, similar incident came to light in Nandanvan on Tuesday where an elderly man was involved in shameful act with another four year old girl. Nandanvan police have booked him after the girl’s family members approached them with the complaint.
The accused has been identified as Ajabrao Chirkut Sawarkar (58), a resident of Nandanvan slums. Police sources the four-year-old victim went to buy chocolates in a nearby shop when Ajabrao lured the little girl and took her to his residence and outraged her modesty. The girl reached home in tears and narrated the incidence to her mother and other family members. They immediately informed Nandanvan police and lodged a complaint against Ajabrao.
Nandanvan police booked Ajabrao after registering an offence under Sections 354 (a) of the IPC and (I) and (2) of Criminal Law Amendment Act read with sub sections 11 (I) (II) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2013. Further investigations are on.
