Nagpur: A drunkard son attacked his father murderously for refusing to hand over property documents and bank passbook. The incident took place in Nandanvan area here on Monday night. The accused has been booked.
The trouble started when the complainant Shyamrao Nagorao Somatkar (65), resident of LIG Colony Quarter No. 20/5, Nandanvan was sleeping in his house. His drunkard son and the accused Sachin Shyamrao Somatkar (32) came home around 11 pm and demanded the house documents and bank passbook from his father. Shymarao flatly refused to hand over the documents at that odd hour. Enraged by the refusal, Sachin attacked his father with wooden rod and inflicted serious injuries on his head.
Nandanvan API Kokade, based on a complaint of Shyamrao, has booked the accused Sachin under Sections 326, 506 of the IPC and searching for him.
