Dr. Neha Deshpande working as Consultant Phacoemulsification Surgeon in Dr. K.G. Deshpande Memorial Eye Hospital & Retina and Vitreous Surgery centre, 218 North Bazar Road, Gokulpeth, Nagpur was invited to present a Scientific Research Paper at 28th APACRS Annual Meeting held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between 5-8th August 2015. She presented the paper on her extensive work on wound construction & healing after Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery. She carried out her work at Dr. K.G.Deshpande Memorial Eye Hospital & Retina and Vitreous Surgery centre from 2013.
The Conference was a World Congress of Cataract & Refractive Surgeon where Dr. Neha was the only one from Vidarbha to present paper. Her work was very much appreciated by people who attended the conference. It is really a matter of “pride” to all Eye Surgeons in Vidarbha & all members of Dr. K.G.Deshpande Memorial Eye Hospital & Retina and Vitreous Surgery centre in particular, that Dr. Neha has done a research work at Nagpur & to receive appreciation at World level. Her work is still going on & many patients would be benefited by her work.
Dr. Neha is a wife of Dr. Swapnil Deshpande, noted Cardiac Surgeon & Daughter in law of Dr. P. K. Deshpande & Dr. Sulabha Deshpande.
