Nagpur: Dr Murlidhar Chandekar has been appointed as the new acting vice chancellor of Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. Prior to Dr Chandekar, Dr Kirtiwardhan Dixit was holding the charge. Dr Chandekar received his appointment letter from the Governor”s office on Thursday morning. The same evening, he even assumed his new charge.
Prior to his new appointment, Dr Chandekar was the acting Pro VC of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) from November 2014 to April 2015. He was the principal of VMV College, prior to which he was professor in the same college for 13 years.
