Nagpur: The students having MBBS degree will not be able to practice if instead of Medical Council of India, the bill of National Medical Commission comes. The MBBS students will not get registration for practice.

As per the NMC Bill MBBS doctors will first have to first qualify a exam and if they pass in this they can practice. But the doctor getting degree from foreign university and foreign doctors have been excluded from this exam. Till now these had to qualify exam as per MCI rule to practice in India. But now as per new rule they will be exempted.

The doctors passing out with less margin will face problem. The members af Indian Medical Association and Medical Council of India are opposing the bill . According to them NMC will be run by government and this will increase corruption. It is not proper to bring the bill during the present parliament session.
