Nagpur News: While many people in the society have developed an inner strength and power to withhold tensions and pressures of life, many often feel that they have lost it and that all the door are closed cleaving no choice but to commit suicide. In Nagpur city, people often choose, Shukravari aka Gandhi Sagar Lake, Ambazhari Lake, Futala Lake and Sonegaon Lake.
A dead body of a 55 year-old man was found in Gandhi Sagar Lake on July 25, 2014. The deceased was identified as Jayendra Waghmare. The Ganeshpeth Police registered a case of accidental death.
According to Police sources, Jayendra Waghmare had allegedly jumped into the lake and had committed suicide on July 25, 2014. The dead body was seen by visitors to the lake on July 26, 2014 at around 11am. One of the onlookers informed about the dead-body floating in Gandhi Sagar Lake to Ganeshpeth Police Station. The Lady Sub Inspector Raut along with her team reached at the accidental spot. Cops performed the panchanama and sent the body for post mortem to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH).
Till the writing of the story, the reason behind the middle aged man committing suicide could not be ascertained. The Ganeshpeth Police registered a case of accidental death and is investigating further.
