CSI’s, Vidarbha Chapter & CTS hold CME on Left Main Coronary Artery Disease

Cardiological Society of India, Vidarbha Chapter in Association with Cardio thoracic Society had jointly organised a CME on “How do I Treat Left Main Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)?” at Hotel Tuli Imperial Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. Yesterday 19-07-2017.

Dr. Anuj Sarda, Interventional Cardiologist, presented the Cardiologists perspective and role of newer antiplatelet therapy. Dr. Deepak Sane Dr. Shailendra Ganjewar chaired the lecture.


Dr. Satish Das presented Cardiac Surgeons perspective while Dr. Arvind Joshi, presented Anaesthesia during Left Main Coronary Artery disease. Dr.Nikunj Pawar, Dr. S. Varshaney. Chaired the 2nd lecture Dr. Ashish Badkhal, Dr. S. Bobade and Dr. S. K. Deshpande and Dr. Vinay Kulkarni chaired the last lecture.

Dr. Ram Ghodeshwar, President, CSI, made welcome speech while Dr. Pankaj Harkut Hon. Secretary, CSI, invited Dr. Nitin Deshpande who summed up the discussions saying complete revascularisation is the motive for any procedure and must form a Heart Team to decide which is the most beneficial solution in the given situation and facilities expertise of treating team and take patients relations into confidence and outcomes explained. Dr. Ritesh Borkar Secretary Cardio Thoracic Surgery, proposed the vote of Thanks. The CME was largely attended by members of both Societies and had interactive discussion with the faculty.
