Farewell bash! Bidding farewells to friends with whom we spent three or four years of our youthful life is not an easy task. With farewell, we bid goodbyes to the togetherness that we shared and gear-up to face a new life of career. It is at during the farewell parties that we often ponder how we have grown up from being a child to young adult and are ready to venture into the harsh world. It was a day for the students of Priyadarshini College to go into a time of nostalgia. The junior students recreated some of the prominent events of the college for the benefit of their seniors during the “Farewell Bash”.
This farewell bash was organized by the students of Priyadarshani College at Laguna Blu. The Junior students welcomed their seniors with a red rose. After a welcome, an ice-breaker game of blindfold was organized which broke the ice and a cordial atmosphere set in.
Once the Disc Jockey (DJ) started playing the latest Bollywood dance numbers, almost all the students started grooving to the tunes. Many couples from the college chose to dance on the romantic and slow tracks. All the students enjoyed some of the finest assortment of lip-smacking food. They also had photographs with other friends shared it on social networking sites.
One of the Junior students Priya Jain while expressing her feeling for the seniors and said “Since our seniors are about to start their new journey of their professional careers, I wish them tonnes of good luck for their bright future. May they come out with flying colours.”
The Junior students strived to make their seniors feel special on this day and expressed their genuine feelings of camaraderie with their seniors.
