CBSE schools to hold various programmes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’

Nagpur: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with  an aim of envisioning an all-round development of students, On the occasion of Sardar Patel’s Birth Anniversary have organised ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ programme  in city,  October 31, 2014.

CBSE has  planned mass activities  involving students of all the classes and all the board.  Activities will involve collaborative effort to convey the message of importance of unity in sustaining any work.

CBSE has also appointed 250 Centre Co-coordinators in schools across India.

Anju Bhutani, Principal of BVM,Civil Lines is the City Co-ordinator  of the event in Nagpur region. Speaking with Nagpur Today,she informed that a assembly will be held at BVM,Civil lines  at 10.30am.wherein students from various schools of the city will participate. And many events are scheduled for the day.

She further added on this occasion the Students will take  Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge.

A  Run for Unity is organised at BVM school premises.  Students after undertaking the pledge will take lap/s of the field or the sports ground to mark the Run for Unity.

Activities such as making posters, jingles, paintings, collage; team debates,  on such topics which will involve joint planning and completion are also scheduled in various scholls of the city.

An online quiz based on Sardar Patel’s life and contribution will also be held at BVM,ShreeKrishna Nagar, informed Anju Bhutani.
