Nagpur: Body of missing sub-adult tiger Srinivas, offspring of iconic tiger Jai, has been recovered. However, it has been found that his claws are missing. Srinivas reportedly died of electrocution in the jungles of Kothurna/Mhasli of Nagbhid Range. Srinivas was missing from Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary (UKWS).
A team of forestmen is investigating the case.
Incidentally, the Tiger Jai too has gone missing since the past one year and has not been traced so far.
