The Additional District Collector Dr Kadambari Bhagat on Wednesday said that creating mass awareness on recently enacted Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act and for total eradication of the demonic evils is need of the hour. And for the awareness, wide publicity is necessary for prevention of such inhuman practices, stressed Dr Kadambari Bhagat while inaugurating the office of District Coordinator set up at Sant Chokhamela Government Boys Hostel near Deekshabhoomi.

“The opening of office by District-level Committee is the first step towards creating awareness on the Anti-Black Magic Act. Lack of awareness would defeat its purpose,” added the Addl Collector.
