Situated in the old NIT Commercial Complex in Sitabuldi, Au-79 Ganga Kashi is all set to woo Nagpur’s population that is fond of dining out. Wondering what the name means? Au is the symbol for Gold and the whole restaurant sticks to this golden theme – from luxury furniture to plates that are rimmed with gold!
A special attraction available at the restaurant is the option of getting dishes customised to your taste and liking – where you will have a chef standing by your table to cook whatever catches you fancy. While this promises to be a differentiating factor, this will be available only from Friday to Sunday. Under this initiative, the management of the restaurant plans to tap into their group of 24 chefs from Kolkata and other cities.
When we talked to the owner, he recommended the Salmon dishes, saying these were their speciality. Apart from that, Au-79 has ample vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes both in starters and main course.Desserts like Chocolate-walnut Brownie and Kesar Firni provide the perfect end to the meal.
