Nagpur: Vidarbha Mini Football Association is organising 9th All India Mini Football Tournament at RTM Nagpur University ground from August 26 to 28.
Addressing media persons secretary of Vidarbha Mini Football Association Rajkumar Kaithwas said former Maharashtra minister Nitin Raut will inaugurate the tournament at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of corporator Prafulla Gudadhe.
The tournament will be organised in Under-14, Under-16 and Under-19 categories for boys and girls. The teams from Vidarbha, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Mumbai, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Mumbai Academy, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Telangana, Hyderabad, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Bharat, Purvanchal are participating in the tournament. The players are staying at MLA Hostel.
For the smooth conduction of tournament an organising committee has been formed under the guidance of Kunal Raut.
President of Vidarbha Mini Football Association Ajay Hivarkar, joint secretary Ashish Dangore, Macchindra Sawle, Shital Singh, Sarvesh Tokekar, Nikhil Raut, Alok Mishra, Ankit Pimpalshende, Tulsiram Kaithwas, Rahul Khillare, Talshak Lokhande and others were working hard for the success of tournament.
International coordinator of Mini Football Dr Mohammad Latof, convener Imran Lari, Vishal Singh and Washiullah Khan were also present at the press conference.
